Pain in Our Companions

Dogs do not show pain the way we do.  Many dogs in pain do not limp, cry, refuse stairs, or have difficulty getting on the furniture.  Dogs show signs of pain by:

• Slowing Down

• Difficulty getting in the car

• Struggling to get up

• Slipping when walking

• Weight Gain

If you have noticed any of these signs in your dog, consider a pain evaluation.  The sooner a problem is identified, the sooner treatment can be started.  The goal is to slow progression and improve quality of life.
